October 24, 2018Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre is a much talked about venue located at the district of Kallithea and near the Athenian seafront. Inspired and designed by the world-famous architect Renzo Piano, this self-sustainable cultural centre lends itself for a once in a lifetime event. Nestled beneath a 170,000 sq. m sloping park, planted with indigenous Greek plants, with the magic touch of a New York landscape designer, forms the roof of the opera house and library. The top of the artificial hill, which rises to 32 metres, provides a panoramic view of Athens and the Aegean Sea, not forgetting the impressive 400-metre-long canal. Besides housing the National Library of Greece and the Greek National Opera its amazing park offers the opportunity for an unexpected feel of freedom and relaxation. The highest point called the Lighthouse leaves you breathless as it’s like being suspended on top of the majestic city of Athens with uninterrupted views and a perfect location for exceptional celebrations.
